CSCS Qualified
All HEL staff now hold a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) white card. This demonstrates our knowledge of safe working practices on construction sites and provides clients with the assurance that we work to the highest health and safety standards.

Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981;
Protection of Badgers Act, 1992; and

Case Study: Beauly – Denny 400kV Overhead Transmission Line
HEL provided expert witness services at public inquiry for the Beauly – Denny 400kV Overhead Transmission Line. The scope of the services provided included a summary of legislation relevant to protected species, an overview of assessment methodology for protected animal species; an overview of key protected species mitigation measures; a discussion of assessed effects and whole route impacts; and rebuttals to other parties’ objections.
